In Response to: Princeton Renames Wilson School and Residential College, Citing Former President’s Racism
My wife just informed me that she heard on PBS that Princeton had dropped the Woodrow Wilson name. Good for you!
Back in the late 1950s, I visited Princeton to consult with my dissertation adviser. On my way out of town, my progress was much delayed by Fidel Castro’s arrival to talk at the Woodrow Wilson School.
May I suggest that the School be renamed after that distinguished visitor from long ago. Or has my suggestion arrived too late?
I can live with disappointment.
